Our Club House
The club was founded in 1948 and purchased a clubhouse in the Police Station Bay (shown below). This was used until some time in the late 1950s Following the revival of interest in the club in the 1970s Alex Stuart offered to sell the old boatshed in 1981 on the existing site for a nominal $600. This required the Marine Department to grant a lease for the site. This was improved bit by bit but eventually needed replacing with our new clubrooms completed in 2017.
